Sweet Home Alabama

November 3-8, 2019 After leaving Tennessee, our first stop was Birmingham, Alabama, to visit our former neighbors from Atlanta, Natalie and Kevin Boughner. We enjoyed dinner at their house and catching up on all the news. An added benefit of this visit was getting to camp at Oak Mountain State Park, about 25 minuets south of Birmingham. October 1-November 2, 2019 We rolled into Rick & Maggie’s driveway on October 1 and after spending one night with the grandchildren I packed my bag and took off for Oahu, Hawaii. My step-mother, Scotty, had been suffering from Alzheimer’s for a number of years, and she finally passed away on September 30th.
