August 8-14, 2022 We woke up on Monday August 8th and kicked off our last week in Canada, with about 1,800 miles left to get to Hermon, Maine near Bangor. It was my birthday so we ate our special cinnamon rolls from the Whitehouse Bakery and set off for Kenora, Ontario. We camped at Anicinabe Park on a pretty lake and enjoyed our pull-in site. July 30-August 7, 2022 After leaving the Alaskan Highway in British Columbia we set a course for central Canada, planning to stop at three different national parks over the next 1,000 miles in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. The Saskatchewan countryside was very beautiful and the roads, mostly just two lanes, were in pretty good condition. July 24-29, 2022 After three weeks in Alaska we spent our last night in Tok and then began our 3-week journey across Canada to Maine. Since the roads on our drive into Alaska on the Alaskan Highway were so bad, especially the last two days, we decided to take another route from Tok on the Klondike Loop through Dawson City, Yukon.
